HUMM Accountancy Services Ltd. is an English incorporated company (registration no. 08161209) based in southwest London, which was established by Jenny Gosney in July 2012.

Why the name “HUMM”? – well sorry to say that there is no great ‘back-story’ other than the name and logo caught Jenny’s eye when she saw it for sale on a graphic design website. Its appeal increased when she realised that the industrious, efficient and engaging attributes of the hummingbird in many ways resembles the type of service Jenny wants to offer her clients: – professional, cost effective and personal.

Jenny is a New Zealander by birth although has lived and worked in the UK for the last 25 years. Prior to leaving NZ Jenny completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree (B.Com.) in accountancy and a law degree (LLB) at the University of Otago. She then qualified as a Chartered Accountant and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of NZ.

For whatever reason the world of numbers prevailed over that of the law and she now has over 27 years accounting and management consultancy experience. Her consultancy experience gives her the ability to look beyond the numbers and enables her to understand the business challenges facing her clients and offer strategic business support if required.
